About Our County

is located in North Kingsville, Ashtabula County, Ohio. Ashtabula County is the largest county of Ohio's 88 counties covering 702 square miles.

Ashtabula County is considered by many to be the Winery and Covered Bridge Capital of Ohio. Our sixteen covered bridges and fifteen wineries and many museums and 'water' opportunities present our county to the world as a tourist destination to a value of $250,000,000 in the year 2002.

To better understand what our county has to offer, we suggest you visit these local authoritative websites:

Our county abounds with golf courses, with the nearest to Sunset Shores less than a mile away! Boating and water sport opportunities? You bet. Conneaut Creek is one of the top steelhead fishing streams in the United States. Marinas within safe ports are located within ten miles to the east or west, and Pymatuning and Mosquito reservoirs offer two of the largest man-made lakes anywhere.

Good hospitals and medical facilities are nearby in both Conneaut, Erie, and Ashtabula, and remember that Cleveland is about an hour away and home to the prestigious Cleveland Clinic.
